MICHAEL SUEOKA
Michael Sueoka is a Real Estate Consultant and Certified Distressed Property Expert located in Calabasas, CA. Born and raised in Southern California, Michael specializes in the Ventura and Los Angeles Counties in commercial real estate.
Michael attended the University of California – Irvine for his undergraduate studies. He competed for the collegiate rugby squad, was active in the social fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and worked in the Campus Recreation Department. Michael graduated from the University of California – Irvine in June 2007 with a degree in Economics and has been in the real estate industry since the Spring of 2005.
After his undergraduate studies Michael worked for over 2 years with Heller Holdings, a boutique commercial real estate development company in Beverly Hills, CA. At Heller Holdings, Michael became Director of Operations for the firm and was responsible for over $50 million of residential and commercial real estate projects located between Long Beach and Santa Barbara.
Michael was responsible for underwriting, analyzing, and acquiring commercial real estate investments, developing and repositioning properties into profitable assets, and overseeing the operations of these assets. In addition, Michael has experience consulting national institutional banks on distressed asset portfolios to mitigate loss, property acquisitions, property management, and the disposition of distressed properties. He oversaw all property due diligence, managed tenant relations, marketing, evaluated operating financials, and scheduled the scope of work for each project.
Property types ranged from apartment complexes, condo conversions, mixed used projects, office buildings, land development, retail strips, industrial parks, and various types of distressed commercial projects.
From this work experience Michael Sueoka understands the COMPLETE real estate process, giving him the advantage over pigeon holed real estate professionals. His natural ability to coordinate an array of individuals to achieve one common goal is invaluable. This is crucial for any successful real estate transaction since every deal, big or small, involves the coordination of specialized real estate professionals to complete the closing.
